SERVICE PROJECTS

Potential Eagle Scout Service Project

Achievement House, an actual house on the Meridian High School campus for special-needs teens need.

The house has absolutely no landscaping and is full of just dirt and sticky weeds. It is easy to trip and fall going up to the door as the ground is uneven. There is nowhere that the kids can go outside of the house to get fresh air or engage in any recreational activities. They are also are in need of a chain link fence (approx. 4 feet high) to be installed around the perimeter of the yard, some sprinklers and sod or grass seed. It would be wonderful to have a small paved area in the back where they could bounce a ball or play basketball.

The house is located at 1720 Pine St. on the outskirts of the Meridian High campus. Please contact Maureen Fuller at (208) 713-1881 or email fullerid@cableone.net for further details.

Potential Troop Service Project

Southwest Ada Little League is looking for help with the fields that they use and are owned by the Cloverdale Church of God. They are in need of cleanup, weed removal, grading, and fence work. For details, please contact Chris Williams, 208-867-3660 or email cdwilliams@micron.com.

Potential Troop Service Project

They need help put together care packages to send to the Middle East to some of our troop and would like to get started in October. SUBMIT A SERVICE PROJECT IDEA

One of the aims of Scouting is to develop young men into participating citizens. A participating citizen does more than what is expected of a good citizen, such as voting and obeying the law. He takes an active role in the community.

Our Scouting units are always looking for projects to help our communities.  If you have a project that you need assistance with and Scouts can help, please completed the form below and submit it to Ore-Ida Council.

If you have questions regarding what projects are acceptable, please contact Patrick Lewis.
