The Ore-Ida Council serves thirteen counties in Idaho and Eastern Oregon.  Our Districts reach as far as Riggins in North Idaho, east to Glenns Ferry in Southern Idaho, as far southwest as Jordan Valley, and west to Burns in Eastern Oregon, for a total of 31,000 square miles.  The Council headquarters and the Ore-Ida Scout Shop are located in Boise, Idaho.  Our Council is divided into four Scouting Districts that include the Centennial District, Gem State District, Oregon Trail District and Seven Rivers District.  Approximately 6,595 volunteers, supported by seven professional Scouters and seven clerical support staff, staff the Districts.  District functions include adult volunteer and youth recruiting, adult training, service to Scouting groups, fund raising and district wide activities that support neighborhood programs.
