NW of Fairfield (north of Mountain Home)
(Make sure you get permission and check out line-of-sight to other peaks when
planning)

If your Varsity or Venture unit would like to participate in publicizing the On Target
event:
I would like 3-4 Varsity or Venture units to go to Shafer Butte North of Boise, 1-2 to each of the participating
television stations and newspaper locations in Boise. We would then have the teams signal each other
with the news media capturing the signal flashes on camera and for the newspaper to get publicity for
On Target in the Ore-Ida Council. If your unit would like to help in a On Target promotional approximately 1-2 months
(July timeframe) prior to
the On Target event, send an email message to
George Van Leuven and I will arrange it.
